Our Story
I met my husband volunteering to walk dogs at the SPCA. We both loved animals and quickly fell in love. Our family has been raising and training dogs of all shapes and sizes for generations. My husband starting training dogs in the late 90s with a focus on aggression prevention and hand signaling. One day he brought me home an English Bulldog puppy. Tyra Barks was a beautiful girl but very stubborn. I was very impressed with how patient my husband was with her and how he trained her to follow hand signals in a short period of time. It's one of the reasons I married him. I learned so much training Tyra. I wanted to train dogs as well. I completed a dog trainer course at SCI training. Since, we have been blessed with a huge home in Southlands and would rather share it with your pets than build a suite and have tenants. Dogs are so much better than most people.

 Harman was fantastic with my girls! I was admittedly a little nervous going in as Bean (17lb pug) can be a touch vocal and nervous when meeting large breeds. Harman ensured me Tyrell is a very docile gentleman. After drop off, she sent me photos of Bean walking around him and said there was no issues at all! Sent lots of photo updates and tracked walks in addition to any potty’s done outside! Very informative, very nice, very caring, would certainly stay again and recommend to others. Pugs came back very happy! Thank you again Harman! 😊

 Harman and her husband have been caring for my 4 year old chihuahua Chicca since she was a puppy. Our Chicca absolutely adores staying at their lovely home in Southlands. I was hesitant at first as they have a large Dogue de Bordeaux dog but he is super friendly and patient with Chicca. They are pals now. Also, my chihuahua is far better behaved as a result of her stays with Harman. She barks far less frequently and is much more social as a result of their patience and training. I strongly recommend them to care for pets of any type or size!
